RSHE
Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) forms an important part of our Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) curriculum at St Bede’s Catholic Primary School.
The Governing Body has adopted the ‘A Journey in Love’ programme to support the teaching and learning of RSHE across the school. This programme is fully consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church and places a strong emphasis on the dignity of the human person, healthy relationships, and respect for self and others.
RSHE is taught in a sensitive, age-appropriate way and is carefully planned to sit within our wider curriculum. Whole-school curriculum maps show where RSHE is taught and how it is integrated across year groups.
If you require any further information or clarification regarding RSHE provision at St Bede’s, please contact the RE Lead, Mrs Derbyshire, who will be happy to support you.
